At Delhi Wood Furniture (“we”, “us”, “our”), we strive to deliver your orders accurately, promptly, and safely. This Shipping Policy outlines the methods, timeline, costs, and conditions associated with shipping products purchased on our website (the “Website”).

2. Shipping Areas & Delivery Destinations

6. Shipping Costs & Taxes

Shipping charges will be calculated at checkout, based on destination, size/weight of items, and delivery method.

For certain large or bulky furniture items, shipping may involve additional freight or handling charges — these will be clearly communicated during purchase.

All applicable taxes, customs duties (for cross-border, if applicable), cess, or surcharges will be borne by you (the buyer), unless otherwise specified.

7. Order Tracking & Delivery Notifications

After dispatch, you will receive a confirmation e-mail or message with shipment/tracking information (if available).

You can track your shipment using the tracking number on the courier/freight service’s website or by contacting us.

If your order doesn’t arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us with order details so we can trace the shipment and help resolve delays.

8. Delivery & Inspection on Arrival

Free delivery will be provided in local city i.e. Ahmedabad. And delivery charges will be applicable as per the order in any city or state outside Ahmedabad.

Please inspect the goods carefully at the time of delivery before signing or accepting.

Check for: correct quantity, product condition, any visible damage (scratches, dents, broken parts), correct product model/variant, etc.

If there is any visible damage or shipping-related issue, please note the issue with the delivery person and take photos of the item and packaging. Then notify us immediately — we will help coordinate replacements or returns according to our returns/refund policy.

9. Failed Delivery Attempts / Address Issues

If the courier attempts to deliver and fails due to incorrect/incomplete address, absence of recipient, or refusal to accept, we will notify you and attempt re-delivery (if possible). Additional re-delivery or return charges may apply — these will be borne by you.

If the shipment is returned to us due to failed delivery, wrong address, or non-acceptance, we will contact you for next steps (re-dispatch at additional cost, refund, etc.).

10. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Related to Shipping

After placing an order, once the customer’s order is ready, you will be sent a photo of your order. Confirm it and make payment. After that, your order will be delivered or you can come to the factory in person, make payment, and pick up your order.

For items damaged during shipping or incorrect items delivered: please report within [48] hours of delivery — with supporting photos of damage, packaging, and delivery tag.

Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement or refund (as per our returns policy).

For orders cancelled or returned due to customer’s change of mind, you may be responsible for return shipping costs (unless the return was due to our error).

Custom or made-to-order furniture may have separate return/exchange rules (may not be eligible for return unless damaged or defective).

11. Custom / Made-to-Order Furniture Shipping

For items built or customized on order, please allow for extended production and dispatch time (as indicated at time of purchase).

Shipping costs for bulky or heavy custom items may be higher — we will inform you of these at the time of order confirmation.

Such items are inspected thoroughly before dispatch to minimize risk — but do check carefully upon arrival and report any damage immediately.
